AI, ChatGPT, etc.
In Anywhere Café, all of the work on this website is written by me (Chance), not a machine. I have similar expectations of RP within the room. Using AI to generate posts, character history and background, or character sheets is against room policy.
I am not making the same ruling with regard to images, because I’ve been known to use AI images from time to time and I’m not a hypocrite. If people have a serious objection to this, we can discuss it at some length.
Character Timelines
Please note that not all characters will arise from the same point in time or return to the same point in time. It is entirely possible that someone from the past, or a future, could reach the Anywhere Café and join in the fun.
I’ll want to get some idea of your plans for said character, of course, but this is permitted in characters here.
Divergence from WoD Timelines
There may well be places where we change the timeline of the WoD through character action. This is by design. We will do our best to track all changes on a page devoted to those differences, so that new players aren’t completely lost.
Storyteller Rewards
As a reward for running plot, I intend to give room storytellers, both official and non-, small XP rewards for weeks in which they run plots. This XP can be applied to any one of their characters, but must be tracked just for the sake of transparency.
